More excuses!
I haven't had the use of my computer for almost a week but have been out with the dogs and taken a few photographs.
Rarely have I seen successful 'food catching' dives from Cormorants, but on this occasion at the Lazy Otter there was an exception. I'd be tempted to suggest the catch is a young eel, but then I could be wrong...............!

I think photography, bird watching and walking the dogs beat sitting at the computer any day, so treat it as a much needed break from the screen. Then again, it's so frustrating.
Nice pictures - not sure about the eel because of the pattern on the side, but don't have much idea of what else it might be.
Being 'connected' again means I should be able to post on an almost daily basis - we shall see! Taking photographs, and hoping they are going to be something special, beats many things in life.......
Will have to wait and see if anyone else comes up an identification for the 'eel'!
