Before going away I walked through this Wood near Waterbeach Station and was impressed with the carvings which had been done on the Benches. I may find more on a subsequent visit and perhaps include more of the details next time.

These are fascinating, I particularly like the simple straight portraits. There is something slightly strange about them as found objects, each with a story. The subtle B&W treatment works well. Benches, a little project?
I hadn't thought of benches as a project but it really does appeal. Thanks for the prompt as my mind is already thinking of other images I've taken and done nothing with!
This blog is to provide me with a photographic record of each year - and I now hope to keep it going after a few false starts! Most days I'm out first thing with our remaining dog, so posting something quite frequently.
