Cranes - Wicken Fen

A glorious morning for a walk on Wicken Fen, starting from the Upware end.   Again I delighted in  the experience of photographing some bird(s) at a considerable distance that proved to be of considerable interest!   This time it was a pair of Cranes which I heard before seeing - not that I was able to identify them by their call.  Identification came again by looking on the back of the camera!   I don't know whether Cranes have nested on Wicken Fen this year.

A play on words but the other Crane is an image of a Cranefly, or at least I think that is what it is called.
