Winter Light across Fens

Having missed out photographing a flock of Redwing or Fieldfares yesterday, I did take a camera with me today and although the temperatures are uncharacteristically high for this time of year, this morning's light suggests it could have been cold.

I fantasised about the large dark bird landing on water being a Fish Eagle, particularly as its head and neck weren't visible initially.   It was a Cormorant.........
