Juvenile Great Spotted Woodpecker
I have become attached to what I now know are two juvenile Great Spotted Woodpeckers in the garden! I don't yet have irrefutable photographic evidence that there are two using the feeders, because they have been on separate feeders, and I use a telephoto lens. But I do have evidence of some of the antics. I'm including a couple of photographs which also include the female.

I do rather envy you these woodpeckers. Very attractive and you've caught their character.
My avian delight this week has been a song thrush singing in a nearby garden.

Yes, with this pace of life (which I'm loving) I have enjoyed giving more time (and money) to encouraging birds into the garden this year. Now the object is to get a photograph of both the juvenile GSWs in the same frame - no sibling rivalry allowed!
