The Cam - 27 December

I loved the very new moon in the first image and the sunrise made even a pylon worthy of capture!

There was enough movement in the water to create swirling images of colour reflected from a linear cloud.   Perhaps it was the cloud striking through the pylon.

Agree with you about the moon, but I wonder where it went! First two pictures definitely benefit from retaining the blue in the sky - give the feeling of night giving way to dawn and anticipating sunrise.

Swirls fascinatingly and endlessly abstract. I'm thinking about a page, say 3x3 images bringing a group of these together.

I think that would work really well. There were so many blotches on the surface of the water in many of my images that I'm not sure I would be patient enough to get rid of them properly!
