Research Park Hide

Yesterday morning was very wet and here are some pictures to prove it!    The dogs had a short walk before I got the key to the Hide and took refuge there.   Unfortunately there is some tall vegetation in front of the Hide (taller than reeds) which obscures a good view of the scrape.   The standing posture of the Little Egret portrays the weather conditions rather accurately.   It was lovely to see a collection (don't know the collective term) of five Snipe.

It's a 'walk' or 'wisp' of snipe. Great Buzzards, by the way.

Thanks for the collective words for Snipe - I'd heard there was such.
