Buzzard

I startled a Buzzard near the Research Park but wasn't ready quickly enough to get some close up photographs.   However, the Buzzard flew to a distant tree where there were interesting antics as it struggled with flimsy willow branches and the wind.   Although it would be lovely to think it had some wildlife in its claws, on inspection it would appear to be a piece of wood.  Is that probable?
