I shall post some photographs from the Norfolk Coast presently but was so enchanted by the colours in the sky earlier today, that they are finding their way here promptly! Are these morning colours found elsewhere I wonder, or are they a characteristic of the 'watery' Fens?

What a wonderful collection of cloudscapes, beautifully caught in a subtle palette. It is extraordinary that there should be so much variation on one day. I'm reminded of the John Constable 'cloud studies' if 1821 (google it).
I'm sure they do occur elsewhere, but in the Fens the world is 80% sky and there are no other features to distract the eye, no pesky mountains etc. Great sense of being small under heaven.
The light was magical that morning and I can't help wondering if it the colour palette was strong oranges and reds that much earlier. Who knows!
