Grasses at Bottisham Lock
Lovely to see two Kingfishers this morning, flying at high speed low over the water. Didn't get to photograph them though. Instead some monochrome captures of reeds in the water - more manageable! Would like to display them as a panel with the first two photographs being the 'book ends' and the lower three much as they are, but I don't think I can do that display with this blog.

My, you have been busy with lots of lovely wildlife since I last commented. I admire your patience and technique; and maybe not a little luck with the tree creeper, which I too haven't seen in ages.
I particularly like the pictures of reeds in the water, very simple and peaceful - quiet moments to be savoured. Each would work as single images, but your idea for a panel would make them much stronger.
I carry a camera when the main purpose for going out for a walk each morning is to exercise the dogs (both of whom are now of a certain age). That means I tend to look out for wildlife and record what I can - even an occasional Treecreeper!
