Deer at Woburn Abbey Park

I was at the Sculpture Gallery in Woburn Abbey Park today and although it wasn't possible to stop and take photographs of the Deer on the way in, I did 'snatch' a few on the way out, through a car window.    The rutting season is now and although here there aren't any photographs of the stags with moss or leaf mould on their antlers, that was seen earlier.

It was exciting being that close to the action in the parade ring and seeing the expressions on the faces of jockeys in anticipation of another race.   One has to wonder what they were thinking..........

After the Race...

Some win and it brings a smile to faces, but not that many...........

Still Scene Setting - Newmarket Race Course

There seems to be a wide range of reasons for going to Newmarket Races on Race Day and perhaps some of these images add to the scene setting.   It won't be long before some photographs appear of personalities, horses and their entourages...........
